Sewing camp for kids aged 8-14

Do you enjoy sewing? Are you a beginner and would like to learn? Or have you sewn before, but it's been a long time? Or would you prefer to sew under guidance and with support? Then you've come to the right place.

During a children's sewing camp with up to 9 children per instructor, we explore the world of sewing together. Each child learns how to use a sewing machine, and we teach the basics of fabrics, patterns, and grain. We are happy to share our knowledge, but we deliberately do not offer formal schooling.

Our sewing projects are based on existing patterns. A wide variety of simple and fashionable sewing projects are available and can be completed with the help of the camp leaders. Each child individually chooses their desired sewing project from our extensive pattern collection, which they can then bring to life using our trendy fabrics. To encourage creativity, fabric scraps are available for completing smaller projects along the way.

Sewing is tiring and requires time and patience. Therefore, we place great importance on a relaxed lunch break where the children can enjoy their packed lunch. We also provide plenty of time for free play, preferably outdoors, depending on the location.

The aim of the sewing camp is to impart basic knowledge and inspire people to take up sewing as a hobby. A very important aspect is the presentation of the self-made garments to an audience at the end of the camp.
